WHO: John O'Shea is a career arborist with twenty-eight years in the business. HE has worked on fine estates in Washington, Oregon and Hawaii, and was a botanical gardens arborist in Honolulu for years.
John loves to teach and train arborists and homeowners in pruning and tree biology.
WHAT: John performs appraisals and inventories of trees in the landscape. These reports are tools that can be used for decision-making. Often, the reports are used to help settle disputes, find a value of a tree, or evaluate damage done to a tree.
WHEN: Most reports can be scheduled within a week of the initial call or email contact. Reports vary in complexity and size. John is available for consultation, and can give a reasonably accurate quote over the phone in many cases for the work to be done.
WHERE: John works primarily in the Portland Oregon Metro area. He is available for consultations outside this area with travel expenses paid by the client.
John has done work consulting form Seattle to Northern California for insurance companies, attorneys, and clients who build, design and maintain landscapes around homes.
WHY: A small business has the strength of being able to respond quickly and give a personal attention to details that is lost by many larger companies. By answering his own phone and doing all fieldwork and reports in person, John hopes to bring your project to a quick and successful conclusion.
